De Everbuild Sika B2 Brandwerend Schuim Aerosol is een hoogwaardig, snel uithardend, ééncomponent polyurethaanschuim met brandwerende eigenschappen. Bij toepassing zet het schuim uit tot wel 50 keer het oorspronkelijke volume en voldoet het aan de strenge normen van DIN 4102 Deel 1 voor Bouwmaterialen: Klasse B2. Dit maakt het een essentieel product voor brandwerende toepassingen.
Na uitharding kan het schuim eenvoudig worden gesneden, gezaagd of gestukadoord, mits de werktemperaturen (zowel van het blik als de oppervlakken) tussen de +5°C en +25°C liggen, met een ideale temperatuur van 20°C. De verbeterde brandwerende classificatie van dit schuim vertraagt de verspreiding van vlammen en rook aanzienlijk in vergelijking met standaard B3-geclassificeerd schuim, wat een superieure veiligheid biedt.
Dit brandwerende schuim is ideaal voor toepassingen met een schuimspuitpistool, vooral voor het dichten van naden rond leidingdoorvoeren in brandwerende muren, rond kozijnen en in elektriciteitsgoten voordat wordt gestukadoord. Het is ook uitstekend geschikt voor brandwerende afdichting van diepe voegen voordat kit of stucwerk wordt aangebracht en voor het vullen van onregelmatige naden in materialen zoals steen, baksteen, beton of gips.
