This 18 ohm, 3W wirewound resistor from the MCKNP series offers a robust and reliable solution for through-hole applications. The resistor features a rod-type ceramic body and tin-plated iron surface steel end caps, ensuring durability and stable performance.
The resistor is constructed with annealed copper wire coated with tin-lead, providing excellent conductivity and solderability. Its insulated, non-flame paint coating and flame-proof design ensure safe operation even in demanding conditions. The resistor can be easily joined by welding, and the terminal leads can be bent at 90° at approximately 6mm from the body and rotated through 360° for a total of 3 rotations, allowing for flexible mounting options.
With a resistance tolerance of ±5% and a temperature coefficient of ±400ppm/°C, this resistor is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is designed for operation at an ambient temperature of 70°C and is AEC-Q200 qualified, meeting stringent automotive industry standards.
