The Amphenol T821 Series Vertical Box Header is a robust, 20-way straight header designed for reliable wire-to-board connections in demanding industrial applications. Featuring a 2.54mm pitch and a two-row configuration, it offers a compact and efficient interface solution for printed circuit boards.

Constructed for durability and safety, this header utilises phosphor bronze contacts with a gold plating for superior conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulator is made from a glass-reinforced thermoplastic (PBT) material, which is UL94V-0 flame-rated, ensuring high resistance to combustion and enhancing safety in electrical environments. The housing is a shrouded, black design that provides polarisation and protection for the pins, preventing mis-mating and offering strain relief.

This non-latch type header is designed for through-hole mounting, with 3.0mm pin tails for secure soldering to PCBs. It boasts excellent electrical characteristics, including an insulation resistance of 1000MΩ and a rated voltage of 250V AC/RMS at 60Hz, making it suitable for a wide range of power and signal applications.
