The Cuprinol Low Odour Woodworm Killer is a water-based formula designed to eliminate all types of wood-boring beetle larvae, offering deep penetration for long-lasting protection. Its low-odour formulation makes it more pleasant and convenient to use compared to traditional woodworm treatments.

Effective Application Methods:

• Bare Wood: Flood surfaces with 2-3 brush coats, concentrating on endgrain, corners, joints, and crevices. In severe infestations, inject into flight holes spaced 7-10cm (3-4in) apart and repeat treatment if necessary.
• Polished Wood: Inject into flight holes spaced 5-7cm (2-3in) apart, and flood joints. Wipe off any excess. Note that fluid does not penetrate polished surfaces, and waxed surfaces may require re-waxing post-treatment.

Important Considerations:

• May darken some timbers—always test an inconspicuous area first.
• Avoid contact with bitumen, rubber, and certain plastics, as they may soften or swell.
• Ensure treated wood is fully dry (6-8 weeks) before laying moisture-sensitive floor coverings or wallpaper, or use a vapour barrier.
