The Diodes Inc. FMMT458 is a high-voltage NPN bipolar junction transistor (BJT) housed in a compact SOT-23 surface-mount package, designed for demanding electronic applications.
This transistor offers a robust collector-emitter voltage (BVCEO) of greater than 400 volts, making it suitable for high-voltage switching and amplification circuits. It can handle a continuous collector current (IC) of 225mA and a peak pulse current (ICM) of up to 1A, with a power dissipation rating of 500mW. It features excellent DC current gain (hFE) characteristics, maintaining high performance at currents up to 100mA. For complementary circuit designs, the PNP type FMMT558 is available.
The surface-mount SOT-23 case style allows for efficient use of board space in modern, miniaturised electronics. Its high transition frequency of 50MHz supports applications requiring fast switching speeds.
