This high power, monolithic FET input operational amplifier is housed in an 11-pin TO-220 package. It features internal current limit circuitry that can be user-programmed with a single external resistor, effectively protecting both the amplifier and the load from fault conditions. Fabricated using a proprietary bipolar/FET process, it utilises a single current limit resistor to set both positive and negative current limits.
Capable of operating from power supplies up to ±40V, this amplifier delivers a continuous current of 5A and a peak current of 10A. It ensures reliable performance with a gain bandwidth product of 1.6MHz and a slew rate of 10V/μs. The device provides precise operation, featuring an input offset voltage of ±2mV and an extremely low input bias current of 4pA. With a high common-mode rejection of 113dB, it maintains signal integrity in demanding environments.
