The Multicomp Pro MCDHN-02F-V is a compact and reliable half-pitch, 2-way DIP switch designed for surface-mount (SMD) applications. This precision switch is constructed from high-quality materials, featuring a black high-temperature thermoplastic nylon base and cover, both UL 94V-0 rated for superior flame retardancy. The actuator is made from a white high-temperature thermoplastic LCP, also UL 94V-0 rated, ensuring durability and consistent performance in demanding environments.

Engineered for stability and longevity, the switch features gold-plated copper alloy contacts and gold-plated brass terminals, which provide excellent conductivity and resistance to corrosion and oxidation. It offers a Single-Pole, Single-Throw (SPST) contact configuration with a specified switching capacity of 25mA at 24V DC.

Built to withstand rigorous use, the switch boasts a mechanical and electrical life of 1,000 cycles each. It operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for various industrial settings. The operating force is a firm 500gf, and it maintains a low maximum initial contact resistance of 100mΩ, with a high minimum insulation resistance of 100MΩ at 500VDC.
