The Multicomp Pro Double Sided Adhesive Foam Pads provide an outstandingly reliable, general-purpose bonding solution for a wide variety of applications. These strong, white, closed-cell polyethylene (PE) foam strips are coated on both sides with a high-performance, rubber-based adhesive, delivering very high initial tack and exceptional shear strength.

The foam core offers excellent gap-filling properties, making it ideal for bonding slightly uneven or irregular surfaces where a complete seal is required. It exhibits very high adhesion to most common materials, including wood, metal, glass, and plastic, ensuring a secure and long-lasting bond. The tape has been specifically tested by FIRA for mirror mounting applications, with a suggested coverage of 40cm² per kilogram of mirror, in accordance with BS 7449:1991.

This adhesive tape is designed for permanence, featuring good long-term ageing characteristics and strong resistance to water, making it suitable for use in humid environments. However, it has limited resistance to solvents, plasticisers, prolonged UV light exposure, and high temperatures, so it is best used in interior settings.

Each pad measures 25mm x 150mm, providing a substantial bonding area. Supplied in a convenient pack of 25, these foam pads are perfect for mounting, holding, and securing items where screws or nails are not desirable or practical. They are easy to use: simply peel off the protective liner, apply to the first surface, remove the second liner, and press the second item into place.
