Handheld Multicomp Pro fibre optic power meter measuring -50 to +26dBm. IP65 rated, 2m drop proof, with FC adapter.
The Multicomp Pro handheld optical power meter is designed to measure absolute optical power or the relative loss of optical power through lengths of fibre optic wire. Built to withstand demanding environments, this durable device features an IP65 dust and water resistance rating and can survive a 2-metre drop test.
Offering an ultra-wide optical power test range from -50 to +26dBm across an 800 to 1700nm wavelength range, it provides versatile and accurate testing capabilities. Linear mW and non-linear index dBm are displayed simultaneously on the backlight display for clear reading. Additional practical features include a built-in flashlight, wavelength store and recall, user calibration, and an auto power-off function to conserve battery life.
Equipped with an InGaAs (Indium Gallium Arsenide) detector, the meter supports FC, SC, and ST interfaces. Please note that only the FC adapter is included as standard; ST and SC adapters are not provided. The device is calibrated for multiple wavelengths including 850nm, 980nm, 1300nm, 1310nm, 1490nm, 1550nm, 1625nm, and 1650nm.
Powered by three 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, it offers up to 60 hours of operational time. It is an essential tool for cable construction and maintenance, optical fibre communication, optical equipment evaluation, and general use in laboratories, production plants, or facility maintenance.
