Multicomp Pro 2-way low profile DIL switch for PCBs. SPST, through-hole mount, gold-plated contacts. Ideal for industrial electronics.
The Multicomp Pro Low Profile DIL Switch is a single-pole single-throw (SPST) 2-position switch designed for reliable performance in various electronic applications. Featuring an end stackable design, this switch is ideal for maximising space on printed circuit boards (PCBs). It comes equipped with a through-hole terminal for secure mounting and a recessed actuator to prevent accidental switching.
Constructed with durability in mind, the switch incorporates gold-plated contacts and gold-plated brass terminals to ensure excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The base and cover are made from black UL94V-0 nylon, a high-temperature thermoplastic that provides robust protection in demanding environments.
This DIP switch is well-suited for industrial applications, offering precise operational characteristics. It features a slide actuator style for easy operation. With a maximum contact voltage of 24V DC and a maximum contact current of 25mA DC, it is engineered for low-power circuit configurations. The switch also boasts a dielectric strength of 500VAC for one minute, an insulation resistance of 100MΩ at 500VDC, and a minimum contact resistance of 100mΩ at 500VDC.
