Multicomp Pro 50ohm wirewound resistor, 7W, 1% tolerance, axial lead, flame-proof, AEC-Q200. Ideal for through-hole circuits.
The Multicomp Pro MCKNP series wirewound resistor offers a reliable and robust solution for through-hole applications. This fixed resistor features a rod-type ceramic body and tin-plated iron surface steel end caps, ensuring durability and stable performance. The annealed copper leads are coated with tin-lead solder for secure and easy welding connections.
Designed for safety and performance, this resistor is insulated and finished with a non-flame paint coating. It demonstrates excellent flame resistance and shows no evidence of flaming or arcing under specified conditions. The terminal leads can be bent through 90° at a point approximately 6mm from the body and rotated through 360° about the original axis for a total of three rotations, offering flexibility for various mounting configurations.
With a resistance of 50 ohms, a power rating of 7 watts, and a resistance tolerance of ±1%, this resistor provides precise and consistent performance. It can handle a voltage rating of 500V and operates at an ambient temperature of 70°C. The temperature coefficient is ±300ppm/°C. This component is qualified to AEC-Q200 standards, making it suitable for automotive applications.
The resistor is non-inductive, which is beneficial for high-frequency applications where inductance must be minimized. It is an excellent choice for engineers and hobbyists who require a dependable wirewound resistor for their electronic circuits and projects.
