The Multicomp Pro SMD Tactile Switch is a compact and reliable surface mount switch, designed for a wide range of electronic applications. With a black LCP (liquid crystal polymer) base and a steel cover, this switch offers durability and stable performance. It features a SPST contact configuration, ensuring simple and effective on/off control.
The switch uses a Phosphor Bronze with Silver Cladding contact and Silver-plated Brass terminals, providing good conductivity and corrosion resistance. It is top actuated with a round button actuator style, and requires an actuating force of just 100gf for a tactile response. This non-illuminated switch is rated for 50mA at 12V DC, making it suitable for low-power control circuits.
Each switch measures 6mm x 6mm and is designed for surface mount installation, ideal for automated assembly processes. The product is part of the MCDTSZML-6 series.
