The Multicomp Pro Thermal Silicone Insulator Kit is engineered to deliver reliable medium thermal performance for TO-220 transistors. Constructed from a ceramic-filled, high-temperature silicone rubber coated onto electrical-grade fibreglass, this insulator pad ensures excellent thermal management and robust electrical isolation.

Designed specifically for applications that demand additional thickness to prevent electrical shorts, it is highly effective when used with stamped aluminium heatsinks found in switch-mode power supplies (SMPS). It also provides essential protection against debris from aluminium castings commonly used in automotive motor controls.

The insulator is rated for applications requiring a thermal interface of 2.5°C/watt or higher on a TO-220 mounted at 50 psi pressure. Featuring a distinct dark pink colour, the pad has a thickness of 0.23mm and boasts a 4,500V AC dielectric withstand voltage, ensuring safe operation in demanding environments.

Supplied as a pack of 10 kits, each set includes one insulating pad and one insulating bush, providing a comprehensive solution for secure and effective transistor mounting.
