The Multicomp Pro MCKNP series is a robust wire-wound, fixed resistor designed for reliability in electronic circuits. It features a rod-type ceramic body for structural integrity and effective heat dissipation, with tin-plated iron surface steel end caps ensuring excellent solderability and corrosion resistance.
The component is constructed with annealed copper leads that are coated with a tin-lead finish, providing a secure and durable connection point. The entire assembly is protected by an insulated, non-flame paint coating, enhancing its safety and longevity. A key feature of this resistor is its non-inductive winding, making it suitable for AC and high-frequency applications where inductance must be minimised.
