The Multicomp Pro MCKNP Series Wirewound Resistor is a through-hole fixed resistor featuring a rod type ceramic body and tin-plated iron surface steel end cap. Designed for reliable performance, this resistor is constructed with annealed copper coated with tin-lead wire and an insulated, non-flammable paint coating, ensuring durability and safe operation.

This resistor is engineered for secure and straightforward installation. It can be joined by welding, and the terminal leads are designed to be bent through 90° at a point about 6mm from the body and rotated through 360° in alternating directions for a total of 3 rotations, providing flexibility in mounting. The component exhibits no evidence of flaming or arcing during operation.
