It is powered via a substantial 3-metre, 1.5mm² power cord terminated with a 13A UK mains plug (Type G). The entire unit is internally earth bonded and manufactured in full compliance with the BS5733 safety standard for electrical accessories, ensuring a high level of safety and reliability for critical IT infrastructure.
