The Texas Instruments Quad 16-Bit Analogue to Digital Converter is a precision, low-power device designed for demanding sensor measurement applications. Housed in a compact 10-pin VSSOP package, this I2C-compatible ADC is well suited for power- and space-constrained environments.
It features a programmable data rate ranging from 8 SPS to 860 SPS and offers single-cycle settling with an internal low-drift voltage reference. The device operates in either continuous conversion mode or single-shot mode, consuming only 150μA in continuous conversion mode. An internal oscillator and an I2C interface with four pin-selectable addresses ensure straightforward integration into your system design.
This delta-sigma ADC provides four single-ended or two differential inputs, accommodating versatile signal routing. A programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and a digital comparator further enhance the analogue signal conditioning capabilities, providing flexibility for a wide range of measurement scenarios.
