RF Solutions GP-02-Kit BDS/GNSS Development Board with AT6558R

The RF Solutions GP-02-Kit BDS/GNSS Development Board is a compact system-on-chip development board built around the AT6558R satellite positioning chip, supporting BeiDou, GPS and GLONASS navigation.

Overview

The board combines a GP-02 multi-mode satellite navigation receiver with a ceramic antenna on a single, compact board. The AT6558R chip integrates a radio frequency front end, digital baseband processor, 32-bit RISC CPU and power management unit in one package. The board measures 3.3 x 1.5 x 4.3 (width x depth x height) and weighs 5 g.

Key Features

• Supports BeiDou (BDS), GPS and GLONASS satellite navigation systems for multi-system joint positioning
• Active antenna detection and protection
• Serial interface with NMEA protocol, configurable using simple serial commands
• Typical 5 V DC supply via onboard micro USB port
• Serial data rates up to 256,000 bps
• Operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C
• Small form factor for space-constrained applications and portable device integration

Applications

Suited to BeiDou/GNSS satellite navigation development projects across different regions, as well as learning and professional development environments. The active antenna detection and protection feature helps safeguard hardware during prototyping and testing.

The board is supplied as a complete development kit.
