Sikaflex 295 UV is a versatile, one-component polyurethane adhesive and sealant of paste-like consistency, designed to cure upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. This product is distinguished by its excellent weatherability and resistance to ageing, allowing it to perform reliably in exposed areas subject to sunlight, rain, and temperature fluctuations. It serves as both a high-strength exterior sealant and a direct glazing adhesive for organic glass (such as polycarbonate and acrylic), providing a durable, waterproof seal that maintains its integrity over time. Key Applications & Compatibility

Sikaflex 295 UV is compatible with a wide range of substrates including aluminium (both bright and anodised), GRP (glass-reinforced polyester resin), stainless steel, timber, two-component coatings, and plastic glazing materials like polycarbonate (PC) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). It is ideal for sealing joints in exposed structures and for bonding glazing in marine vessels. Always consult manufacturer’s guidelines and perform adhesion tests on original substrates before full application, especially on materials prone to stress cracking.

Supplied in a convenient 300ml cartridge for easy dispensing with a standard caulking gun, it offers excellent application properties straight from the tube. Its black colour provides a neat, professional finish that blends well with many building materials.
