At its core is a high-quality RS232 serial adaptor featuring an FTDI chip. This ensures reliable, stable communication with industrial equipment, POS systems, and other legacy devices. The chip includes COM port retention, which automatically reassigns the same COM port value after a system reboot or device disconnection, eliminating the need for manual reconfiguration.

For network connectivity, the hub integrates a Gigabit Ethernet controller, providing a fast and stable wired connection. This controller supports advanced features like Wake-on-LAN (WoL) and VLAN tagging, making it suitable for both office and professional IT environments.

The hub delivers 100W Power Delivery 3.0 for efficient passthrough charging. It intelligently allocates up to 85W to charge your host laptop or device while reserving 15W to power the hub itself, ensuring all connected peripherals function without interruption.
