Timco Penny Washer DIN 9054 BZP M6 x 30, Carbon Steel, 17.48 kg bulk
Timco carbon‑steel penny washer DIN 9054, M6 × 30, with trivalent chromium zinc coating for corrosion resistance; supplied in bulk carton pack.
Overview
The Timco Penny Washer DIN 9054 is a robust, larger‑diameter fastener designed to spread clamping loads over a wide surface. Commonly called a ‘mudguard’ washer, it prevents material damage where a standard washer would embed itself.
Material & Coating
Made from durable carbon steel, the washer offers high tensile strength. It is finished with a trivalent chromium (Cr3) zinc plating – an eco‑friendly, hexavalent‑chrome‑free coating that provides superior corrosion resistance for indoor and outdoor use.
Key Applications & Benefits
- Load Distribution: Ideal for softer materials such as wood, plastic or sheet metal, protecting the surface from embedment.
- Hole Reduction: Allows a bolt to fit securely in a slightly oversized hole.
- Packing/Spacing: Useful for creating precise spacing or packing out components in an assembly.
- Versatile Use: Suitable for automotive (mudguard) work, construction, fencing, furniture assembly, machinery and general repairs.
Packaging
Supplied in a high‑volume carton pack, offering excellent value for trade professionals, workshops and serious DIY enthusiasts requiring bulk quantities.
