Construction & Technology

The metallised film electrodes consist of an extremely thin metal layer vacuum-deposited onto the dielectric. The wound capacitor element's opposing metalised layers are connected via a flame-spraying (schooping) process at the end-faces, to which the tinned wire leads are securely attached by welding or soldering. This ensures stable electrical connections and mechanical integrity.

With a broad operating temperature range from -55°C to 100°C and a humidity rating of GRADE II, this capacitor is built to perform reliably in demanding environments. Its through-hole, PC pin terminals facilitate secure mounting on printed circuit boards, making it a dependable choice for power management and clock timing circuits where consistent capacitance and voltage handling are critical.
