The VISHAY TCMT1100 is a high-performance 1-channel phototransistor output optocoupler, engineered to provide reliable signal isolation. It consists of a gallium arsenide infrared-emitting diode optically coupled to a phototransistor, with both elements mounted on a single lead-frame. This design ensures a fixed and precise distance between the input and output, meeting stringent safety requirements for electrical isolation.
This component is characterised by a low temperature coefficient of CTR (Current Transfer Ratio) and a typical low coupling capacitance of just 0.3pF. It is designed to handle a forward current of 60mA and offers a reverse voltage of 6V. With an operating ambient temperature range from -40°C to +100°C, it is built for stability in challenging environments.
