The **TACIMA 500VA Step Down Transformer** is manufactured in the UK to comply with the rigorous safety and performance standards BS.7452:1991 and IEC.989:1991. This ensures reliability and peace of mind for all your voltage conversion needs. The unit is expertly engineered to deliver high efficiency while generating virtually no external magnetic field, making it suitable for use in sensitive environments.

At its core, the transformer utilises advanced toroidal windings, encased within a robust housing for superior durability and long service life. This design contributes to its compact form factor and efficient operation.

For user convenience, the transformer comes complete with a 1.4-metre 3-core flex and a fitted UK mains plug (type G). This plug type is standard in the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Malta, and many other countries, offering broad compatibility. The unit features two outputs, configured with 2/3-pin USA-type sockets, providing a safe and reliable connection for 110V or 120V equipment.
