Blue Spot Tools 120 Grit Emery Cloth 3.8cm x 4.6m
Versatile 120-grit emery cloth roll for metal, wood & plastic. Waterproof, anti-clogging, for wet/dry use. 3.8cm x 4.6m.
The Blue Spot Tools 120 Grit Emery Cloth is a versatile and durable abrasive cloth, expertly designed for a wide range of finishing and preparation tasks. Crafted from high-quality AA80 aluminium oxide, it offers an effective cutting action suitable for both hand sanding and use with power tools. The abrasive grains are securely bonded to a robust TJ113/J weight waterproof polycotton cloth backing, ensuring the cloth remains intact and reliable through demanding use, providing increased durability and longer life.
This emery cloth is ideal for working on various materials, including wood, plastic, leather, and a wide array of metals—even tough surfaces like stainless steel. Its consistent 120-grit grade delivers a fine, controlled finish, making it perfect for smoothing, deburring, and preparing surfaces for painting, varnishing, or welding. A key feature is its anti-clogging design, which helps prevent the abrasive surface from becoming packed with material dust, maintaining its cutting efficiency throughout the job.
Versatile Application
Offering great flexibility, this cloth can be used in both wet and dry conditions. Using it wet helps to reduce dust and can extend the life of the abrasive. Its supple, cloth-backed construction makes it ideal for wrapping around circular or contoured pieces, such as pipes, rods, or curved mouldings, allowing for even sanding on complex shapes that rigid sandpaper cannot easily reach.
Supplied in a generous roll measuring 3.8 centimetres wide by an impressive 4.6 metres long, it provides ample material for multiple projects. Whether you are a professional tradesperson tackling metal fabrication or a dedicated DIY enthusiast working on woodworking or restoration, this emery cloth is a reliable and essential addition to your toolkit.
