Blue Spot Tools 240 Grit Emery Cloth Roll 3.8cm x 460cm
Versatile Blue Spot 240 grit emery cloth roll for metal, wood & plastic. Anti-clogging, waterproof, for wet/dry use on hand or power tools.
The Blue Spot Tools 240 Grit Emery Cloth is a versatile and durable abrasive cloth designed for a wide range of finishing tasks. Manufactured from high-quality AA80 aluminium oxide abrasive grains, it is bonded to a tough TJ113/J-weight waterproof polycotton cloth backing. This construction provides excellent durability and consistent cutting performance, making it suitable for both hand sanding and use with power tools.
One of its key features is its anti-clogging properties, which help to maintain an effective cutting surface for longer, reducing downtime for cleaning. The cloth is also designed to be used wet or dry, offering greater flexibility depending on your project requirements and material type. Its long, narrow format (3.8cm x 460cm) makes it ideal to be wound around circular pieces for uniform sanding of rods, pipes, and other cylindrical objects.
Ideal Applications
This 240 grit emery cloth is perfect for smoothing and finishing a variety of materials. It works exceptionally well on wood, removing light imperfections and preparing surfaces for finishing. On metals, including stainless steel, it is effective for deburring edges, removing light rust, and creating a uniform satin finish. It is also suitable for use on plastics and leather, providing a controlled abrasive action without causing excessive damage to softer materials.
