Bulgin Blue Illuminated Vandal-Resistant Switch 16mm IP68

The Bulgin Blue Illuminated Vandal-Resistant Switch is a 16 mm panel-mount, single-pole single-throw (SPST) switch with an IP68 sealing rating, designed for demanding industrial environments. It features a blue illuminated ring, and its stainless steel body and button are designed to resist tampering, impact, and harsh conditions. This switch is part of the MPI002 series.

Key Features

This switch offers a momentary (push-to-make) action with a tactile feel and a defined operating force of 12N. Its screw terminations provide a secure and reliable electrical connection, while the gold-plated copper alloy contacts provide low resistance and good conductivity for sensitive low-current applications.

Sealing and Operating Range

The IP68 sealing rating makes the switch completely dust-tight and protected against prolonged immersion in water. This allows reliable operation in wash-down areas, outdoor enclosures, or any location exposed to moisture and contaminants. The switch is designed to operate across a temperature range from -30°C to +75°C.

Applications

Ideal for applications where space is limited and reliability is critical, this vandal-resistant switch suits control panels, industrial machinery, public access equipment, marine electronics, and medical devices. Its robust construction makes it suitable for environments where equipment is subject to frequent use, accidental impact, or deliberate abuse.
