The CONTACTA Portable Induction Loop System (Euro Version) is a versatile and mobile desktop solution designed to assist customers who wear a hearing aid with a 'T' facility. It is ideal for small rooms where one-to-one conversations take place, and can easily be moved between rooms as required.

Constructed from robust ABS plastic, the single control unit conveniently incorporates a microphone, amplifier, hearing loop aerial, and a rechargeable battery system. This ensures a tidy and efficient setup without the need for excessive wiring.

Advanced Audio Features

This system boasts advanced audio processing, featuring Automatic Gain Control (AGC), compression, and a noise gate to ensure clear sound transmission. The constant-current loop drive and LED indicator for loop drive and battery/charge status make operation straightforward. The magnetic field strength reaches an approximate distance of 1.2 metres, providing ample coverage for desktop interactions.

Connectivity and Power

An external 3.5mm jack audio input connection allows for either a boundary microphone or Scart lead audio. Powered by an internal NiMH battery pack, it offers an approximate battery life of 4 hours. The power supply operates at 18V DC via a 2.1mm DC jack, supplied with a 100-240V AC Euro adaptor featuring a 2 Pin Euro type C mains plug.
