The CYTRON Maker Pi Pico Mini is a more compact yet fully-featured development board, retaining the core functionality of the larger Maker Pi Pico. It is designed to simplify project building for the Raspberry Pi Pico, integrating essential peripherals into a small, user-friendly footprint.
This board provides easy access to all Pico pins via headers, allowing for straightforward prototyping and connection. A key feature for portable projects is the integrated single-cell LiPo connector, complete with over-charge and over-discharge protection circuitry. The LiPo battery can be conveniently recharged via the board's USB connection, making it ideal for untethered applications.
Integrated Features & Indicators
To enhance usability, the board includes several onboard indicators and controls. Six LED indicators provide visual feedback for GPIO pin status. It also features an RGB LED, a piezo buzzer for audio feedback, a user-programmable button, and a dedicated reset button, all accessible without external wiring.
Connectivity
Despite its reduced size, the Mini incorporates three JST-SH Maker Ports for connecting a wide range of sensors and modules. For compatibility with popular Grove ecosystem components, the board is supplied with JST-SH to Grove adaptor cables. This makes it incredibly versatile for educational and maker projects.
Programming & Compatibility
The Maker Pi Pico Mini supports a variety of programming environments, offering flexibility for developers. You can program it using C/C++ natively or via the Arduino IDE, as well as with high-level languages like CircuitPython and MicroPython. Please note that the Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller board itself is not included with this product.
