DESCO Workstation Mini Monitor with Universal Power Adapter

The DESCO Workstation Mini Monitor with Universal Power Adapter is a single-station continuous monitor used to ensure the path-to-ground integrity of one operator and one ESD worksurface. Its illuminated enclosure makes the status of the operator and worksurface highly visible to both the operator and supervisor.

The Mini Monitor is designed with Wave Distortion Technology to provide stable continuous monitoring of the path-to-ground and the presence of 1 megohm resistance of an operator’s wrist strap. If the operator unintentionally disconnects from the monitor or the wrist strap connection points become intermittent, audio and visual alarms activate in less than 50 milliseconds.

The monitor also checks for a worksurface path-to-ground of less than 10 megohms, and includes a Park delay timer and ParkSnap mat monitor switch that disables the worksurface monitor circuit when used in areas where there is no ESD protective worksurface. The audible alarm adjustment sets the alarm volume from loud to louder, ensuring it is always heard.
