Dormer Solid Carbide Cylindrical Rotary Burr Set, 5-Piece
High-performance Dormer rotary burr set (5-piece) for metalworking. Carbide construction & precision grinding.
The Dormer P88001 Solid Carbide Rotary Burr Cylindrical Set is a versatile collection of high-performance rotary burrs designed for precision metalworking applications. These burrs feature toughened and hardened steel shanks that enhance rigidity, reduce vibration, and prolong tool life by preventing bending. Ground to h6 (Carbide) and h7 (Steel) tolerances, they provide excellent impact strength, withstand high forces, and maintain performance under elevated temperatures. Special brazing elements ensure superior braze strength for durability.
The set includes the Dormer 813 Solid Carbide Rotary Burr Bright, featuring a pointed tree ball nose geometry for skip flute grinding, offering increased centre strength. Its design reduces swarf congestion while improving cutting action near the centre, making it ideal for general machining with enhanced control and metal removal efficiency. The burrs produce double cuts, ensuring precise finishes and manageable swarf.
