Eclipse 8-inch Fibre Vice Grips Red Plastic Pads Pair

Eclipse 8-inch Fibre Vice Grips are red plastic fibre vice jaw covers that help protect delicate workpieces from marks and damage when clamped in a mechanics' vice. Supplied as a pair, they are suited to soft, polished, or sensitive surfaces.

Overview

Each grip combines a steel body with a red plastic fibre gripping surface, secured by two chrome-plated rivets. The fibre surface acts as a protective barrier between the vice jaws and the workpiece, distributing clamping pressure evenly to reduce crushing and scratching on materials such as polished metal, finished wood, brass, copper, and plastic components.

Key Features

• Dual-material construction with a steel body and red plastic fibre gripping surface
• Two chrome-plated rivets for secure attachment
• Supplied as a pair, providing coverage for both vice jaws
• Replaceable pads that allow the vice to switch between heavy-duty metalworking and delicate tasks
• Red colour for clear visibility of the protected jaws
• Designed to fit standard 8-inch Eclipse mechanics' vices without obstructing the workspace

Dimensions and Weight

Each grip measures 43 mm (height) x 33 mm (width) x 15 mm (depth). The pair weighs 200 g.

Applications

Suitable for precision engineering, model making, jewellery repair, and fine woodworking, these grips help maintain the condition of delicate projects. They also support heavy-duty metalworking when the vice is used for more robust tasks, allowing quick changes between demanding and delicate work. Choose these Eclipse 8-inch fibre vice grips when you need protective, replaceable jaw coverings for a standard 8-inch mechanics' vice.
