Faithfull No.778 Rebate Plane, 38mm
Versatile Faithfull No.778 rebate plane with adjustable fence & twin cutter positions for precise woodworking. 5-year guarantee.
The Faithfull No.778 Rebate Plane is a versatile tool designed for professional woodworking, allowing you to cut rebates up to 38mm (1½in) with precision. Its adjustable fence, supported on two guide rods, ensures stability and accurate placement, while the rods can be positioned on either side of the plane for flexible use. A twin-position cutter further enhances its adaptability, making it ideal for both rebate and bullnose work.
Constructed from high-quality cast iron with an accurately ground base, this rebate plane ensures durability and smooth operation. The double-sided adjustable fence provides added control, and the included spur facilitates clean cross-grain cutting. It also comes with a precise depth stop for consistent results.
Versatile Functionality
- When the cutter is in the centre position, the plane excels at standard rebating tasks, aided by a fine screw adjuster for depth control.
- When moved to the front position, the plane transforms into a bullnose plane, perfect for working into tight corners.
Backed by a 5-year guarantee and presented in a hinged wooden box, this tool is as reliable as it is functional, making it a must-have for any woodworking enthusiast or professional.
