The Texas Instruments TPS70933DBVT is a fixed-output low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator featuring a very low quiescent current of just 1µA, making it suitable for battery-powered, always-on systems that demand minimal idle-state power consumption. This regulator provides a stable 3.3V output from an input range of 2.7V to 30V, with a typical dropout voltage of 960mV at full load.
Designed for power-sensitive applications, this device includes a precision band-gap and error amplifier to deliver 2% accuracy over temperature. For enhanced safety, the regulator incorporates thermal shutdown, overcurrent protection, and reverse-current protection. It can be placed into a shutdown mode by pulling the EN pin low, dropping current consumption to just 150nA.
This LDO supports a peak output current of 200mA, though the maximum continuous output is 150mA. It is available in a compact SOT-23-5 surface-mount package and operates over an industrial temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The product is environmentally friendly, being a green product and free from antimony and bromine.
