Durable Hammond die-cast aluminium enclosure with IP54 & EMI/RFI shielding. Ideal for electronics & industrial applications.
The Hammond Eddystone Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure is a rugged electronic instrument enclosure designed for reliability and performance. Constructed from BS1490 LM2M aluminium alloy, this enclosure provides durability while remaining easy to machine. The lap joint construction ensures superior protection against dust and water splashes, making it suitable for demanding environments.
With excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance, this enclosure is ideal for sensitive electronic applications. The low side wall draft angle (2 degrees or less) facilitates easy P.C. board mounting, simplifying installation. The enclosure features counter-sunk holes and is secured with M3.5 x 12 screws, providing a flush and secure fit.
Designed to meet IP54 standards, this EMI/RFI shielding box ensures protection against dust ingress and water splashes in industrial, telecommunications, and electronic applications. Its unfinished natural aluminium finish offers a sleek, professional appearance while maintaining heat dissipation properties.
