The Hammond IP54 Black Flame Retardant ABS Enclosure is a multipurpose solution designed for vertically mounting printed circuit boards with ease and security. This durable enclosure features integral card guides that easily accommodate 1.5 mm (0.062”) PC cards, ensuring a snug and stable fit for your electronic components.
Constructed with a robust lap joint design, it provides excellent protection against dust ingress and splashing water, meeting the IP54 standard for reliability in various environments. The enclosure is moulded from flame retardant ABS plastic, which is not only durable but also easy to machine, making it ideal for custom modifications.
For secure closure, the lid is fastened with M3 x 10 mm Philips machine screws, threaded into integral brass bushings for added strength and longevity. An RFI/EMI shielded version is also available, offering enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference for sensitive applications.
