This diecast aluminium enclosure from the 1590Z series is designed for demanding environments where reliable equipment protection is essential. With an IP68 rating and a NEMA classification of Type 4X/6P, it offers robust defence against dust, water, and harsh conditions.
The watertight construction features a two-piece tongue and groove design with a one-piece silicone rubber gasket, ensuring a secure seal. The enclosure is optimised for repetitive opening and closing, making it ideal for applications requiring frequent access. Four recessed stainless steel machine screws secure the lid into tapped holes, and the self-captivating screws prevent loss during maintenance.
This enclosure also provides improved EMI/RFI shielding, protecting sensitive electronics from electromagnetic interference. Its diecast aluminium body is strong and lightweight, while the black finish offers a professional appearance. The 'through box – blind hole' construction enables straightforward wall mounting without compromising the gasket seal.
