Constructed from high-quality diecast aluminium, it features a flanged lid and a lap joint construction that provides excellent protection against the ingress of dust and splashing water, achieving an IP54 rating and a NEMA 12K environmental classification for use in demanding industrial settings.
This enclosure is engineered for superior performance with improved EMI/RFI shielding, protecting sensitive internal electronics from electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. Installation is straightforward thanks to factory-tapped holes with included screws, and a low side wall draft angle of 2 degrees or less facilitates easy mounting of printed circuit boards (P.C. boards).
