The INTERSIL CA3140MZ is a 4.5MHz BiMOS operational amplifier that integrates high-voltage PMOS transistors and high-voltage bipolar transistors on a single monolithic chip. This combination delivers the benefits of both technologies, offering very high input impedance, very low input current, and high-speed performance.
The MOSFET input stage ensures that the output swing complements the common-mode input voltage range, while the bipolar output stage includes built-in protection. It operates from a supply voltage of 4V to 36V, with either single or dual supply, and is internally phase-compensated for stable unity-gain follower operation. An access terminal allows for an external capacitor if additional frequency roll-off is required, and terminals for input offset voltage nulling are also provided.
