The KEMET T494 Series Surface Mount Tantalum Capacitor is an industrial-grade MnO2 component designed specifically for highly automated surface mount processes and equipment. Combining proven solid tantalum technology with advanced materials and automation, this capacitor meets or exceeds the requirements of EIA standard 535BAAC.
As a lower ESR version of the popular T491 series, this component features symmetrical and compliant terminations, making it highly reliable for demanding electronic applications. It boasts a capacitance of 47µF with a ±10% tolerance and a 16V DC voltage rating. The termination finish is 100% matte tin (Sn) plated, and the device utilises a halogen-free epoxy that is compliant with UL94 V-0.
