Knipex 77 12 115 Electronics Diagonal Cutter with Lead Catcher, 115mm
Precision Knipex diagonal cutter (115mm) for electronics—laser-hardened steel, lead catcher & ergonomic grips. No wire scatter.
The Knipex 77 12 115 Electronics Diagonal Cutter is a precision tool designed for fine cutting work in electronics and fine mechanics. Its round head design features a small bevel and an integral lead catcher, ensuring no uncontrolled loss of cut wire ends, which enhances safety and cleanliness in delicate work environments.
Crafted from high-quality ball bearing chrome steel, these cutters are oil-hardened and laser-hardened, achieving a cutter hardness of at least 60 HRC. The polished/mirror-polish finish, combined with a fine film of oil, provides excellent rust protection and prevents circuit faults caused by peeling chrome—ideal for sensitive electronic applications.
The ergonomic multi-component grips offer superior comfort and a secure hold, while narrow sleeves pulled up to the plier head allow precise control, even when guiding the tool between thumb and index finger. A low-friction double spring ensures smooth, even opening for reduced hand fatigue during prolonged use.
