The LASCAR EL-IOT-1 is a compact, wireless, cloud-connected temperature data logger designed for continuous, remote environmental monitoring. With its integrated sensor measuring from –20°C to 60°C, it provides reliable data crucial for the storage and transport of temperature-sensitive goods, complying with the BS EN 12830:2018 standard.

Designed for simple deployment, the unit connects to a local Wi-Fi network and autonomously uploads readings to the secure EasyLog Cloud platform. From here, users can view, analyse, and share temperature data in real-time from any internet-enabled device, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer, enabling complete oversight without the need for physical checks.

Proactive Alarms and Clear Status

The device features configurable high and low-temperature alarm thresholds. If a limit is exceeded, it can trigger multiple notifications simultaneously: email alerts to specified recipients, an audible alarm from the built-in sounder, and a clear visual indicator via a flashing LED on the front panel. This multi-layered alert system ensures critical temperature excursions are never missed.

Versatile and Durable Design

Front-panel status indicators provide an instant at-a-glance view of alarm status, battery level, and Wi-Fi signal strength. The robust housing is rated IP54, offering protection against dust ingress and water splashes, making it suitable for various indoor environments. It is powered by four included AA batteries, providing a typical battery life of over one year, or it can be permanently powered via an optional adapter for fixed installations.
