Littelfuse Miniature Reed Sensor, Flange Mount, NO, 300mm Cable

The Littelfuse Miniature Reed Sensor is a compact and highly reliable magnetically operated position sensor. Designed for precise detection in confined spaces, it occupies a minimal board footprint of just 3.22cm² (0.500”²). Its innovative flange mount case design offers versatile installation, allowing for secure screw or adhesive mounting, with wires conveniently exiting from the top right-hand side.

This sensor features hermetically sealed, magnetically operated contacts, ensuring long-term reliability in various environments. A key advantage is its zero standby power requirement, making it exceptionally energy-efficient for continuous operation. It is capable of switching substantial loads, handling up to 265VAC or 300VDC at 10VA, and is also excellent for switching microcontroller logic-level loads.

A standout feature is its ability to operate through non-ferrous materials such as wood, plastic, or aluminium, enabling flexible mounting solutions without direct contact. The sensor is supplied with a 300mm cable length and tinned leads for easy and reliable connection. For optimal performance, it is designed to function best when paired with the matching 57140-000 actuator (sold separately).
