This McLennan 45mA/12VDC Geared Instrument Motor features a 392:1 gear ratio. The 1271-series integral iron core DC motor provides smooth operation and a bidirectional variable speed capability, while the gear head utilises a multi-stage metal spur gear train rated for a working torque up to 0.2Nm. Designed for maximum installation flexibility, it is suitable for mounting in any attitude and provides reliable operation over a wide ambient temperature range from -20°C to 60°C.
Equipped with an integral VDR (voltage dependent resistor) electrical suppression system, the motor effectively minimises electrical interference. Its compact dimensions (43mm H x 33mm W x 15mm D) make it ideally suited to applications where small size is an important design criterion.
