With a 0.5A output current capability, adjustable output voltage, and a 500kHz fixed switching frequency, the converter achieves up to 96% efficiency while minimizing the size of external filtering components. The device features a low 6μA shutdown current, internal soft-start, cycle-by-cycle peak current limit, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) with 4.1V start and 3.6V stop thresholds.
