The Microchip PIC16F690 is an 8-bit Flash-based CMOS Microcontroller featuring advanced nanoWatt technology. This low pin-count (20) PIC® flash microcontroller delivers all the advantages of the well-recognised mid-range x14 architecture, alongside standardised features including a wide operating voltage range of 2.0V to 5.5V and on-board EEPROM data memory.
Standard analogue peripherals include up to 12 channels of 10-bit A/D, an analogue comparator module with two comparators, a programmable on-chip voltage reference, and an enhanced capture/compare/PWM (ECCP+) with dead band delay, auto-shutdown, and restart options. The device also offers EUSART LIN 2.0 compatibility and ECCP+ with PWM steering for versatile control applications.
Additional integrated features enhance system reliability and power management, such as a power-saving sleep mode, Power-on Reset (POR), Power-up Timer (PWRT), oscillator start-up timer (OST), and an enhanced low-current watchdog timer (WDT) with an on-chip oscillator. Software selectable Brown-out Reset (BOR) and programmable code protection further secure your application.
