The Microchip PIC18F26K22-I/SP is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit microcontroller based on the PIC18 core, featuring Microchip's proprietary eXtreme Low Power (XLP) technology. It is designed for demanding embedded applications that require robust processing power, extensive memory, and versatile connectivity within an efficient power envelope.

At its heart is a 64MHz operating frequency, supported by 64KB of flash program memory and 3.8KB of SRAM, providing ample space for complex code and data handling. An integrated 1024-byte EEPROM offers reliable non-volatile data storage. The microcontroller boasts a rich set of 25 configurable I/O pins and a comprehensive suite of peripherals including 19 channels of 10-bit Analogue-to-Digital conversion, multiple Capture/Compare/PWM modules, two SPI and two I²C interfaces for serial communication, and two Enhanced Universal Synchronous Asynchronous Receiver Transmitters (EUSART).

Engineered for reliability in industrial environments, it operates across a wide supply voltage range from 2.3V to 5.5V and over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Its features like the Charge Time Measurement Unit (CTMU), Brown-Out Reset (BOR), and multiple timers make it suitable for precision sensing, motor control, and power management applications.
