The demo board features a 2 Kbit Serial EEPROM (24LC02B), a high-accuracy temperature sensor (MCP9801), a low-power 12-bit Analogue-to-Digital Converter, a 10-bit Digital-to-Analogue Converter, and an 8-bit I/O Expander. This selection covers a wide range of common embedded functions, from data storage and environmental sensing to signal conversion and GPIO expansion.
For easy monitoring and debugging, the board includes test points on the I2C bus and most of the individual devices. A dedicated connector allows for direct connection to an external I2C bus or to a PICkit Serial Analyser (DV164122), enabling detailed signal analysis and system integration.
