Its design incorporates several key features for secure mating, including dual-cantilever terminals for a stable electrical connection, polarising header backwalls and ribs on the corresponding receptacles to prevent misalignment, and a friction-lock mechanism between headers and receptacles to ensure a secure physical fit.
This single-row, unshrouded pin header uses a through-hole, right-angle termination, making it ideal for board-to-board and wire-to-board applications where space-saving perpendicular connections are required.
