The Multicomp Pro 2 Pole Magnetic Cable Assembly is a 500mm panel mount lead terminating in a bare end. It provides a practical solution for applications requiring a 2-contact connector that can be disconnected extremely quickly or used in environments where accidental damage to connectors or cables is likely.
Designed specifically for extra-low voltage applications such as battery charging, this magnetic connector features a rated current of 5A at 30V AC/DC. A key design feature allows the connector to rotate a full 360 degrees without losing the electrical connection, offering flexibility and preventing cable tangles.
Design and Ratings
While the panel mount connector and the cable connectors are individually rated to IP67, please note that due to the nature of the magnetic connection, the mated connection itself is not waterproof. This makes it suitable for environments where the individual components might be exposed to moisture when disconnected, but the active connection should be kept dry.
